Short Bio

Growing up, I loved to spend time on winding trails, near the high river banks, not far from our family farm. I was captivated by the beauty of creation and the wonder of my Creator. Dramatic skies and sprawling fields, forests, rivers, grazing cows and vibrant flowers continue to beckon my attention and find their way onto my canvases.

Statement

I was surprised in the summer of 2021 when I painted a small canvas and suddenly fell in love. I knew I had to do more of this. 

Biography

Martha is a homemaker and a seasonal Airbnb host on an acreage close to Steinbach, MB, Canada. Together with her husband, she has 5 children, a daughter in law and 1 granddaughter. She is grateful for the opportunity to raise her family in the country with lots of room to explore and experience nature. Besides hosting many different guests on her property, she loves to garden, work on creative projects, look after the hobby farm of horses, goats, dogs and cats and of course, dote on her sweet granddaughter.  Much of her artwork is inspired close to home, across the neighborhood fields and under the vast skylines of country living.
